We were fortunate to service one of the most ambitious survival shows that Discovery have ever commissioned. Ed Stafford First Man Out was a challenge to shoot. The Beachhouse Pictures team flew in from Singapore with 600kgs of 4K equipment which we had to manage and transport in a remote area of the Dhauladhar Range of the Himalaya. We set up a Unit base with generator power, and DIT station in a Forest Rest House. Then we serviced two units, shooting in two separate even more remote high altitude locations, via our team of more than 80 production and expedition staff. The India show was the season one finale. There is a case study here and a page containing clips from the show here.
