Himalaya Film Services was founded to address a major challenge in the international production industry: the deep gap between creative vision and the tough realities of working above the tree line. While generalist fixers will tell you they can shoot anywhere, they often fail to understand how extreme altitude affects crew safety, equipment, and budgets.

Our Leadership: Built on 35+ Years of Production Experience

Our founder, Tony Cordeaux, started his career in the competitive TV and commercial sector of London in 1989. After years of working as a producer, line producer, director, and editor, he relocated to India and established Goa Film Services in 2006.

Tony first visited the Himalayas in 1993, falling in love with the unique cultures and challenging landscapes of the high-altitude north. Seeing that international crews needed a more professional, safety-first option for mountain shoots, he combined his experience in Western production standards with local expertise to build Himalaya Film Services.
